About 3-4 years ago, when I began high school, the questioning began. Everyone wanted to know what I was going to study and where I wanted to go to college. At the beginning, my answer was always “I don’t know”. A year later, I answered psychology, the next month interior designing, then architecture, administration, and somewhere along that time I finally decided that communications was the career for me. But now, 3 weeks ago, when I was on the look for an internship, many doors were open and I still didn’t know what I wanted. I was worried that my doubtfulness was about to kick in once again. |
BlendZers, remember the business model? And customer segments, and the product development strategy? That’s it.
But because this is a starting point in the company, it requires lots of RESEARCH.
Its hands-on work in the sense that I’m able to do research on my own and learn about different aspects of Lima that I know will be essential for the product development. However, the research I’m required to do is basically online—not the most hands-on job of all. Just like my last internship, this is just more evidence that my DREAM JOB will someday be anything but me sitting in my own cubicle for 8 hours a day. I realize that whatever it is, it has to be something active: if going on meetings, these will have to be in different places, maybe having a job that required going someplace else rather than my office and definitely a job that doesn’t entail being in front of a screen for the most part. |
I’ll keep you updated.
