Looking back to the good old days of Elementary school, when E's were the bomb and P's truly sucked, I'm far away from the times I used to celebrate for those "straight A" grades. Ever since I found the IA, which opened me to a new world of education, getting sevens' or E's were slowly left forgotten. The truth is, I realized that grades only fed your ego, and not your mind--grades were supposed to represent your hard work and genuine learning that occurred in each of your classes, but these were obviously missing the point. |
About a week ago, we sat down as a class and began our feedback sessions. And although it keeps being weird to talk about myself and listen to others do the same about me, I've learned over the course of two years that there's nothing better than people CHALLENGING you, especially people that are in your best interest, and in my greatest benefit. Apart from having myself and others talk about ME, I have never grown as much as I have in these two years because of the feedback I've kept receiving. So, how have I grown, and what can I still get better at? Let's see.
- How can we make more money in BlendZ so we can hire more teachers next semester?
- What's the plan when we accept more students
As I think back, my biggest goal this semester was to leave back a footprint in FDR. So far, I've done it with Habla Roosevelt when it starts inspiring other to do the same. But now, the footprint is to be left with me as well, which will happen by the skills I learn and continue having that intrinsic motivation to keep challening myself and accomplishing those goals.
