This is our last week for finalizing our idea for the internship or independent project. In August I had already arranged an internship with an interior designer, but as our schedule changed, I put that on hold until November. I have contacted the interior designer already to begin the internship again, but I am still waiting for answer. However, I have now encountered a little bit of a problem because as she is an interior designer and doesn’t necessarily work at a company, it might be difficult for her to work with me for six consecutive hours a day, three times a week. She does work on the project she has during the day but might only visit the work place (the house she is remodeling) when her client approaches her for help, mostly. So, this might be a | problem because I won’t have much to do during the day or actually visit the houses, which is what I’m mostly interested about. But, I have come up with a few solutions! First, I could combine my internship with an independent project of remodeling our classroom, which we had begun in the beginning of the semester. This is a great idea, but, I’m not sure if I want to pursue this project yet. Right now I am doubting what I really want to do, but in the meantime I am searching for other possible internships on MARKETING, which I am also interested in and would also help me to learn more about it for my marketing project. |
After thinking about my interior design internship, I realized I had to start looking for some other options, just in case. A few hours later a friend told me that her parents had contacted Diners Club, and they had agreed to have an internship with one of us. And so, I said I would!
I'm still waiting for the interior designer to answer, but I'm almost sure that I am taking the Diners Club internship!
