Today was the second day that we presented in the PAC for practice. Before my presentation I did feel very nervous for two reasons. I believe that because of my topic was very personal and I hadn't really talked about it in public that much, I was getting nervous. Also, being prepared is essential. I hadn't practiced that much before hand with my media and how my presentation and the media will work together and that showed during my presentation.

What I need to work on:
What worked:
Reflection
What I need to work on:
- Engaging media (more photos, videos)
- Pictures are essential to back up my ideas and anecdotes
- Organization
- What's my focus?
- What do I want people to get from my presentation?
- Read less from the paper (would be better to not use one)
What worked:
- Engaging quote
- Telling anecdotes were more natural because I didn't read from a paper
- Even though I was VERY nervous, I showed confidence while speaking
After my presentation I received a lot of feedback and someone told me that the topic I was talking about is very personal and maybe because it was so personal I shouldn't be talking about it because it might be too hard for me. But, in previous presentations some feedback was that we should be talking about personal experiences because it is more powerful. Truth is, my topic is VERY hard for me to talk about, especially in front of so many people. But, it is the only experience that has impact my life and shaped me to be the person I am now so its actually the perfect topic for me to talk about. My presentation also focuses about perspective and this is something I can connect to a lot as well.
For my final presentation on Thursday, I am going to practice a lot more and also share more anecdotes that I feel I was to scared and nervous to share.
