Rick O'Barry, is a renowned dolphin trainer, who worked in the old TV series, "Flipper," and years later, due to the death of one of the dolphins that played Flipper in the series.

This is not the only problem, however. Rick O'Barry was part of this offense when working on Flipper and many years later realized how much he was contributing to this fatal cause.
This is where we see the irony of this powerful story.
Economics Apart from having dolphins in captivity, the biggest issue addressed in the documentary is animal abuse and how human health is threatened by it. - In order to have this economic growth through this industry, there are many lives (especially kids) who are put in danger. - Do you have an idea of how many people living in Japan are aware of the meat they consume? - Do Japanese even know how this can affect their health through mercury consumption? VERY little. | - Very few times does the documentary show the government taking charge of this situation... do they really do or not? - The killing of whales was band in Japan, therefore, the meat was replaced with dolphin meat - animal abuse - Ilegal fishing - what the documentary was trying to expose |
