Complains, complains, complains. After Christmas, I travelled to a beach in Ecuador, where I spent an entire week without any internet connection, and even though it didn’t really bother me—something that surprised me tremendously—I realized I did things I usually wouldn’t do if I had that distraction: reading. When I was travelling I read books instead of browsing through Instagram and play cards instead of Snapchatting with my friends. Disconnecting from any distracting electronics helped me focus on some things I didn’t during school hours. So, this summer I have opted for a disconnected-from-technology summer, while still completing my summer work. |

Until now, I’m enjoying this approach and I’ll try to keep up with it, as long as it doesn’t stop me from working efficiently and responsibly on everything I have to get done!
