Choosing a company where you want to invest your money can be challenging. And I experienced that today. When we began the unit of finance in school and our new project consisted of investing real money in the stock market I honestly thought instantly about Apple. For me, they are always in a constant rise in the stock market--I thought--because they are always releasing new products. However, what I didn't think about is how unsuccesful these products can be and with Apple's last product, the iPhone 5c they were not very successful at all. As a result, Apple hasn't been doing very well in the stock market and right now would not be a smart move to invest money with them.
Trying to find a company that fits us best to invest our money with is really complicated. We have to look for those that look somewhat like this:

Often times, you want the cost of your share to be close to the amount of money in the 52-wk Low column, rather than the 52-wk High because if it's the other way around, then the amount of money you will gain will be very minimum. I spent a lot of time trying to look for different companies that looked like this, but this was not an easy task. However, there are exceptions when the company is doing well and these go beyond the 52-wk High.
One of the problems I encountered is that some have a very positive trend, but, some companies that I was interested were currently on their peak, which investing money to wouldn't be smart.
Remember:
Buy Low. Sell High.
